My concept for this piece was to materialize a place where we often go to contemplate and see ourselves in a positive or negative light. This still life follows the concept of masking because it's the place where you go to remember yourself and keep going. Somewhere where you can't get lost and somewhere people consider to be a safe haven. The instrument on top of the sink symbolizes our daily routine, which progressively gets harder from day to day.
